This blog is operated by a young lady, under the guidance of her parents, who hopes to be an encouragement to other young ladies who love the Lord Jesus. It is also her desire to freely share the message of salvation to those who have not heard or do not know what Jesus has done for them. May you be blessed as you read!

My Favorite Scripture Verses
I wish I could write the whole Bible right here! I guess I'll just have to put down some that have affected me the most:
"Do not let your adornment be merely outward—arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel— rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God." 1 Peter 3:3-4- this verse has been my life verse for several years. I desire to be more beautiful on the inside, where Jesus lives, than on the outside which is passing away.
"Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity." 1 Timothy 4:12- Just because I'm young does not mean the Lord lowers His standard. Rather I should be a better example as I have all my life to practice!
"...That our daughters may be as pillars, Sculptured in palace style;" Psalm 144:12b- I desire to bring honor and glory to both my earthly and heavenly Father!
"Delight yourself also in the LORD, And He shall give you the desires of your heart." Psalm 37:3-4- Obviously I explained why I like this verse on my very first post since it is the name of this blog.
"That you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;" Colossians 1:10-I don't want to just walk through this life; I want to walk through it fully pleasing my Savior the whole way! May He find me fruitful right where I am!
My name is Hannah and I'm 19 years old. I started this blog with the intent to catalog my walk with the Lord and the things He showed me, as well as to encourage and inspire other young ladies! I currently live in VA with my family of 12 on a little farm with chickens, a dairy cow, cats, a dog, bunnies, and turkeys. I'm preparing to get married in April 2014 and will be moving to NE with my future husband. I hope to record the things the Lord continues to teach me along this pilgrimage journey called LIFE! Enjoy!
